Brewtan® B is a natural tannic acid developed for brewing beer. An increase in shelf life and flavor stability are some of the benefits of adding BrewTan B to your beer, as well as added colloidal stability. It will help with minimizing cold-side oxidation with good handling practices. Brewtan will not remove stable haze from NEIPA or other hazy styles.
Dosage rates and instructions:
Weight-based = 0.15g/gallon | Volume-based = 0.10 tsp/gallon
Add to strike water volume prior to mash-in
Add to sparge water volume prior to sparge
Dissolve amount for post-boil volume in brewing water and add at 15 mins remaining
Note: add at least one full minute prior to adding any Whirlfloc or kettle fining agents
