We will always strive to ensure your complete satisfaction with your BrewSRQ experience and will never knowingly disappoint you.  Please contact us to resolve any issues or concerns you have.

Price Matching: We do not match competitor prices. If you are strictly a low-price shopper, we are not the shop for you.

Payment is required at the time of order via the available payment options on the website.

Delivery is not currently available and we do not have a timeline for its return. 

Shipping:

Mon - Fri: In by 10 AM Eastern – ships same day  

Sat - Sun: all orders ship the following Monday

Orders containing liquid yeast must be timed to keep it from sitting over a weekend or holiday. We ship liquid yeast from Monday through Thursday. This ensures that a missed delivery doesn't sit in a warehouse over the weekend. We hold these orders containing liquid yeast to ship the following Monday (or Tuesday if a holiday falls on Monday).

If you would like for us to ship your liquid yeast orders on a Friday, please leave a note in the order or contact us directly.

We do not ship to CA (Prop 65), AK, HI, APO, FPO, US Territories, or PO Boxes. 

Exclusions:  

  • 50 and 55 pound sacks of grain or ingredients
  • Glass items - carboys, wine bottles, beer bottles
  • Drop-shipped or hazardous materials with special handling requirements
  • Kegs, buckets, fermenters, starter kits and other bulky items. 
  • Orders containing 35 pounds or more of grain in total - see below
  • Closeout, bulk, heavy orders

Flat and free rate shipments will always go via the least expensive method available. If you have a time sensitive delivery requirement or are shipping liquid yeast/refrigerated items, please select a paid method that meets your needs.

Why do we charge for bulk grain orders when our competitors don't?

We understand that we will lose business and that's OK. We are building a healthy and sustainable business in a high cost of living area. We cannot grow if we are killing ourselves shipping malt at a loss. We aren't a big box homebrew supplier, and we aren't interested in becoming one. Please buy bulk grains locally or order smaller amounts more often. 

To minimize our environmental impact, we reuse and upcycle as many of our shipping and packing supplies as possible. We will never compromise on safety or cleanliness to ensure your items arrive in excellent condition, but you may see a wide range of packing supplies used in your order.

We may add a signature requirement to some orders, and you may request signature delivery (for an additional charge) by leaving notes in your order and we will send an invoice. 

Liquid Yeast:

We recommend you consider using dry yeast during the warm months if you're concerned with viability and not planning to make a yeast starter. 

Liquid yeast is finicky and must be kept cool to do an awesome job fermenting your favorite beverages. It’s hot in those delivery trucks, so we take extra precautions to ensure your yeast survives the trip in excellent shape.

All liquid yeast orders will ship with an ice pack inside an insulated pouch within the shipping box. If you would like to add additional ice packs, you may opt to purchase extra packs or a yeast cooler to ensure your yeast stays cool during shipment. 

We ship liquid yeast Monday – Thursday. This ensures your yeast will arrive to you quickly enough to remain viable. If you order liquid yeast from Friday – Sunday, we will ship the following Monday (excluding holidays). If you wish to ensure the most viable yeast, a foam shipping cooler option is available to add on along with additional ice packs. 

*PLEASE NOTE* Your best bet for liquid yeast shipments is to add a shipping cooler, additional ice packs, and ship via 1 or 2-day shipping options. 

WE CANNOT GUARANTEE THE DELIVERY DATE WITH FLAT RATE or FREE SHIPPING METHODS. ASSUME THOSE METHODS WILL ARRIVE NEAR THE END OF THE ARRIVAL WINDOWS.

Yeast starters are always a good idea.

Your yeast may or may not swell in its pack on route to you. This is not an indication of viability, just that the yeast had something to ferment and they fermented it. If your liquid yeast fails to perform despite proper shipping speed, storage, and handling, please contact us and we'll make it right.

Special Orders:

We are happy to bring in whatever you need if we can get it. We order from most of our suppliers monthly. Some items are available from multiple suppliers and can be ordered more frequently.  

All Special Orders must be prepaid. Lead time is from 1-4 weeks, depending on the item. Rush orders can be accommodated for an additional charge. 

Pre-Order Items:

We will frequently run pre-sales for special releases of products, or for products we do not sell enough of to justify keeping a regular stock of. This is mostly for liquid yeasts. If you have a request, please reach out to us and we will let you know when the pre-orders will open up. 

All Pre-Order Items must be prepaid. Lead time is generally 1-2 weeks after close of the pre-sale. 

Returns & Exchanges:

We are happy to accept returns of new, unopened, and unused items within 30 days of receipt. Please contact us to begin the returns process.

We cannot accept returns on:

  • Grain (whole, crushed, or full sacks)
  • Hops 
  • Liquid Yeast
  • Adjuncts
  • Chemical refills
  • Special order items
  • Used equipment
  • Giftcards

Damaged Shipments & Defective Items:

Shipping damage happens, in spite of our best efforts to pack your orders securely.

If your items arrive damaged, please contact us within 24 hours of receipt with pictures of:

  • Shipping label
  • Shipping box
  • Damaged items clearly showing the damage

Please contact us with the above information and we’ll get a replacement or refund out to you right away.

If your item is defective, please contact us for further assistance.

Refunds:

We process returns daily and will advise you once your refund is approved. Please allow 3-5 business days from the time we process your refund for your bank to release the funds back to your payment method.

If your order was a gift, we will issue the credit on a giftcard.
