Dextrose is a fully-fermentable simple sugar made from corn. It imparts no color, no flavor, and will lighten the body while adding alcohol potential to wort or must. Great for high gravity beers that benefit from a lower finishing gravity. Enhances drinkability.
Dextrose is the ideal priming sugar. The 150g package is the right amount to prime bottles for most 5 gallon batches.
It adds 46 gravity points per pound per gallon
Also available as pressed tablets that allow you to dose bottles individually.
