    Origin: Southern Tropic hops were formerly known by the breeding number U1/108.

    Usage: Big fruit flavor and aroma are best used late in IPA, NEIPA, or another hop-forward style where a complex fruit profile is desired.  

    Aroma & Flavor Characteristics: Southern Tropic has some sweet aromas of melon, tropical fruit, and distinctive guava. Brewers have also reported unique butterscotch or cream caramel that is reminiscent of the Neomexicanus daughter Sabro®

    Alpha Acid: 10-13% 

    Beta Acid: 5.0-6.0%
    Total Oil:1.1-1.6 mL/100g
