Fermentis SafAle™ W-68 is highly versatile and ideal for producing wheat beers as well as other styles with fruity-spicy profiles. It lends itself to creating aromatic beers with notable amounts of phenols (such as clove and pepper notes) and esters (including floral and fruity banana flavors). With its moderate sedimentation, this strain produces a powdery haze when resuspended in beer, but it does not form any clumps.
