White Labs WLP029 Kölsch Yeast originated from a Cologne brewery and great for Kölsch & altbier. It amplifies hop flavor & bitterness, leading to a crisp, clean lager-style beer. Fermentation works best at 18-20°C (65-69°F) and falters below 17°C (62°F) after peak. Low flocculation is expected from the first generation onward.
